Plastic ABS resin is the most productive and widely used polymer. It organically unifies various properties of PB, PAN and PS, and has excellent mechanical properties that are both tough, hard and rigid. ABS is a ternary copolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene and sethylene, A stands for acrylonitrile, B stands for butadiene, and S stands for s spine. After actual use, it was found that Abs Plastic pipes are not resistant to sulfuric acid corrosion and break in the event of sulfuric acid. Due to its three components, it is endowed with good properties; acrylonitrile gives ABS resin chemical stability, oil resistance, certain stiffness and hardness; Abs Plastic butadiene improves its toughness, impact and cold resistance; styrene makes it have good dielectric properties and good processability. Most ABS are non-toxic and impermeable, but slightly permeable, with low water absorption, no more than 1% a year in room temperature immersion, and no change in physical properties. The surface of ABS resin products can be polished to obtain highly shiny products. 3-5 times stronger than ordinary plastics. ABS has excellent comprehensive physical and mechanical properties and good low-temperature impact resistance. Size stability. Good electrical properties, wear resistance, chemical resistance, dyeability, finished product processing and machining. ABS resin is resistant to water, in innocible salts, alkalis and acids. It is insoluble in most alcohols and hydrocarbon solvents, but easily dissolves in aldehydes, ketones, esters and some chlorinated hydrocarbons. ABS resin has low thermal deformation temperature and flammable, Polycarbonate and has poor heat resistance. Conventional performance Plastic ABS is non-toxic and tasteless, with an ivory-colored translucent appearance, or transparent particles or powdery. The density is 1.05~1.18g/cm3, the shrinkage is 0.4%~0.9%, the elastic modus value is 2Gpa, Polyamide the Poisson ratio is 0.394, the moisture absorption <1%, the melting temperature is 217~237℃, and the thermal decomposition temperature is >250℃. Mechanical properties Plastic ABS has excellent mechanical properties, good impact strength, and can be used at very low temperatures; plastic ABS has excellent wear resistance, good dimensional stability, and oil resistance, and can be used for bearings under medium loads and low speeds. ABS has greater creep resistance than PSF and PC, but smaller than PA and POM. Thermal performance. The thermal deformation temperature of plastic ABS is 93~118℃, and the product can be increased by about 10℃ after annealing. ABS can still exhibit certain toughness at -40℃ and can be used in the temperature range of -40~100℃. Electrical performance. Plastic ABS has good electrical insulation and is almost independent of temperature, humidity and frequency, and can be used in most environments. Environmental performance Plastic ABS is not affected by water, in infernal salts, alkalis and a variety of acids, but is soluble in ketones, aldehydes and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and will cause stress cracking due to erosion of glacial acetic acid, vegetable oil, etc. ABS has poor weather resistance and is prone to degradation under the action of ultraviolet light; after half a year outdoors, the impact strength drops by half.
