Product Description
The combustion mechanism of ABS resin is very complicated. Due to the variety of types, proportions, process conditions and production methods of raw materials used, the actual composition of ABS resin varies greatly, and its combustion performance is also different. Generally, with the increase of butadiene composition, the transparency of the resin decreases and the flammability increases. This is due to the presence of substituted tertiary carbon atoms in the polybutadiene phase, which is conducive to oxygen seizing hydrogen from butadiene and triggering oxidation and accelerating the degradation of ABS. It is also believed that ABS thermal-oxygen aging can be explained by the thermal degradation of acrylonitrile-butadiene and butadiene-styrene copolymers. HCN, a unique product of acrylonitrile, has not been found in the pyrolysis products of acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymers, because the pyrolysis of the butadiene part produces an unsaturated component, which quickly reacts with HCN. ABS resin essentially, like other polymers, produces a particularly active free radical HO· during combustion, and the concentration of HO· is the key to determining the combustion speed. When the polymer meets HO, Abs Plastic it produces polymer free radicals and water. In the presence of oxygen, HO·free radicals are produced, which can continue the reaction and eventually produce CO2 and H2O.

It is advisable to take high material temperature and high mold temperature, but if the material temperature is too high, it is easy to decompose (the decomposition temperature is >270 degrees). For plastic parts with high accuracy, the mold temperature should be 50-60 degrees and high gloss. Heat-resistant plastic parts, the mold temperature should be 60-80 degrees. 9. If you need to solve the water pattern, you need to improve the fluidity of the material, adopt high material temperature, high mold temperature, or change the water level. 10. If the heat-resistant or flame-retardant material is formed, the plastic decomposition material will remain on the surface of the mold after 3-7 days of production, resulting in the brightening of the mold surface. The mold needs to be cleaned in time, and the surface of the mold needs to increase the exhaust position. 11. The cooling speed is fast, and the mold pouring system should be based on the principle of thick and short. It is appropriate to set up a cold material hole, and the gate should be large, such as: direct gate, disk gate or fan-shaped gate, etc. However, the internal stress should be prevented from increasing. If necessary, the adjustable gate can be adopted. The mold should be heated, and wear-resistant steel should be selected. 12. The material temperature has a great impact on the quality of the plastic parts. If the material temperature is too low, it will cause a shortage of materials, and the surface will be dull. The silver wire is disordered. If the material temperature is too high, it is easy to overflow, and silver wire dark strips will appear, and the plastic parts will change color and bubble. 13. The mold temperature has a great impact on the quality of plastic parts. When the mold temperature is low, the shrinkage, elongation, impact strength, bending, compression and tensile strength are low. When the mold temperature exceeds 120 degrees, the cooling of the plastic parts is slow, the mold is easy to deform, the mold is difficult to remove, and the molding cycle is long. 14. The shrinkage rate of molding is small, Polyamide melting and cracking is easy to occur, resulting in stress concentration. Therefore, the molding conditions should be strictly controlled during molding, and the molding parts should be annealed after molding. 15. High melting temperature, high viscosity, insensitive to shearing. For plastic parts larger than 200 grams, a screw injection machine should be used, the nozzle should be heated, and a smooth extended nozzle should be used, and the injection molding speed is medium and high speed.
