Acryliconitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) is a general-purpose thermoplastic polymer with ABS performance characteristics: good rigidity, high impact strength, heat resistance, low temperature resistance,Polyformaldehyde chemical resistance, mechanical strength and electrical properties, easy to process, good machining dimensional stability and surface gloss, easy to paint and coloring, and also spray metal, electroplating, welding and bonding. Because the characteristics of ABS combine the characteristics of its three components, it has excellent comprehensive performance, and it has become one of the preferred plastics for electrical components, household appliances, PC Or ABScomputers and instruments.
ABS engineering plastics are generally opaque. The appearance is light ivory, non-toxic and tasteless. It has the characteristics of toughness, hardness and rigidity. The combustion is slow, the flame is yellow, and there is black smoke. After combustion, the plastic softens and burns, emitting a special smell of cinnamon, but there is no melting and dripping. ABS engineering plastics have excellent comprehensive performance, excellent impact strength, good dimensional stability, electrical performance, wear resistance, chemical resistance, dyeing, good molding and machining. ABS resin is water-resistant, inorganic salts, alkalis and acids. It is insoluble in most alcohol and hydrocarbon solvents, but is easily soluble in aldehydes, ketones, esters and some chlorinated,Polycarbonate hydrocarbons.ABS is a ternary copolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. A stands for acrylonitrile, B stands for butadiene, and S stands for styrene.
