ABS engineering plastics, also known as PC+ABS (engineering plastic alloys), are Chinese as plastic alloys in the chemical industry. They are so famous as PC+ABS because this material not only has the excellent heat and weather resistance, dimensional stability and impact resistance of PC resin, but also has excellent processing fluidity of ABS resin. Therefore, it can be applied to thin-walled and complex shaped products to maintain its excellent performance and the formability of a material composed of plastic and an ester. The biggest disadvantage of ABS engineering plastics is their heavy quality and poor thermal conductivity. Its molding temperature is taken from the temperature between the two raw materials, which is 240-265 degrees. If the temperature is too high, ABS will decompose, and if it is too low, the fluidity of the PC material is poor.
PC/ABS, Polycarbonate and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymers and mixtures are thermoplastics made of polycarbonate and polyacrylonitrile (ABS) alloys, combining the excellent characteristics of the two materials, the molding of Abs Material and PC's Mechanical properties, impact strength and temperature resistance, ultraviolet resistance (UV) and other properties can be widely used in automobile internal parts, Polyamide business machines, communication equipment, household appliances and lighting equipment. The appearance of Abs Engineering Plastic is opaque and ivory-colored particles, and its products can be colorful and have high gloss. The relative density of ABS is about 1.05, and the water absorption rate is low. ABS has good bonding with other materials and is easy to surface printing, coating and coating treatment. The oxygen index of ABS is 18~20, which is a flammable polymer. The flame is yellow, has black smoke, and emits a special cinnamon flavor. 2. Mechanical properties ABS has excellent mechanical properties, excellent impact strength, and can be used at very low temperatures: ABS has excellent wear resistance, good dimensional stability, PC Or ABS and oil resistance. It can be used for bearings with medium load and rotational speed. ABS has greater creep resistance than PSF and PC, but smaller than PA and POM. The bending strength and compression strength of ABS are poor among plastics. The mechanical properties of ABS are greatly affected by temperature. 3. Thermal performance The thermal deformation temperature of ABS is 93~118℃, and the product can be increased by about 10℃ after annealing. ABS can still show a little toughness at -40℃ and can be used in the temperature range of -40~100℃. 4. Electrical performance ABS has good electrical insulation and is almost unaffected by temperature, humidity and frequency. It can be used in most environments. 5. Environmental performance ABS is not affected by water, inorganic salts, alkali and a variety of acids, but it is soluble in ketones, aldehydes and chlorinated hydrocarbons.Polypropylene It will cause stress cracking when eroded by glacial acetic acid and vegetable oils. ABS has poor weather resistance and is prone to degradation under the action of ultraviolet light; after half a year outdoors, the impact intensity is reduced by half.
