Kaifeng Longyu Chemical POM MC90-C Polyformaldehyde thermoplastic crystalline polymer. Known as "super steel" or "Sai steel", also known as polyoxymethylene. The English abbreviation is POM. Usually, the polymer obtained from formaldehyde polymerization is not high and is easily susceptible. It can be used as a raw material for organic chemicals, synthetic resins, and also as a fumigant. Polyoxymethylene is a hard and dense material with a smooth and glossy surface, light yellow or white, and a semi transparent thin-walled part. The combustion characteristic is easy to burn, and then continue to burn. The upper end of the flame is yellow and the lower end is blue, causing molten droplets and a strong irritating formaldehyde odor and fishy odor. Polyoxymethylene is a white powder, generally opaque, with good coloring properties. Its specific gravity is 1.41-1.43 grams per cubic centimeter, and the molding shrinkage rate is 1.2-3.0%. The molding temperature is 170-200 ℃, and the drying condition is 80-90 ℃ for 2 hours. The long-term heat resistance of POM is not high, but it can reach 160 ℃ in the short term. Among them, the short-term heat resistance of homopolymer POM is more than 10 ℃ higher than that of copolymer POM, but the long-term heat resistance of copolymer POM is about 10 ℃ higher than that of homopolymer POM. Can be used for a long time within the temperature range of -40 ℃ to 100 ℃. POM is prone to decomposition, with a decomposition temperature of 280 ℃. During decomposition, irritating and corrosive gases may occur. Therefore, it is advisable to use suitable materials for the production of mold steel.

It is also applied to audio machines such as video recorders, CDs, LDs, MD players, radios, headphones, stereo speakers, OA machines such as printers, keyboards, CD-ROM drives, household appliances such as washing machines, dryers, hair dryers, automotive parts such as seat belt mechanical components, exterior door handles, and engine rooms, as well as parts such as clocks and watches, as well as building materials, toy and stationery materials such as game consoles.
