Although
Polycarbonate has good toughness and mechanical properties, it has poor resistance to environmental stress cracking and high sensitivity to notches, making it difficult to form parts with metal inserts.
Polycarbonate plastic has a small tendency to crystallize and no accurate melting point, and is generally considered as an amorphous plastic. Its glass transition temperature is relatively high, ranging from 149 to 150 ℃, the melting temperature is 215 to 225 ℃, and the molding temperature can be controlled between 250 and 310 ℃.
The thermal stability and mechanical strength of polycarbonate increase with the increase of relative molecular weight, and the melt viscosity also significantly increases with the increase of relative molecular weight. The relative molecular weight of polycarbonate used for injection molding is generally between 20000 and 40000.
Polycarbonate is an engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive performance, and its products are widely used in the mechanical, electronic and electrical industries, transportation and textile industries, medical and daily necessities.
General Grade Polystyrene ① In terms of machinery, various components such as gears, racks, camshafts, worms, screws, nuts, pipe fittings, impellers, valve parts, photographic equipment parts, and clock parts with low workloads. Polycarbonate
② The electronic and electrical industry produces insulation connectors, coil frames, gaskets, etc. for electronic computers, televisions, radios, audio equipment, and household appliances, as well as instrument casings, hand drill casings, hair dryers, lighting fixtures, and controllers.
③ Daily necessities, such as sunglasses, lighters, smoking accessories, shower basins, helmets, light bulbs, tableware, signal light bodies, and beer bottles.
