Modified nylon is a kind of engineering plastics. It is a granular product formed by changing its physical properties based on nylon raw materials. The output of such products is modified according to the different needs of some manufacturers. Polycarbonate Modified nylon roughly includes: Reinforced nylon, toughened nylon, wear-resistant nylon, halogen-free flame retardant nylon, conductive nylon, flame retardant nylon, etc.1. Thermal properties: glass transfer temperature (Tg) and melting point (Tm); high thermal deformation temperature (HDT); high long-term use temperature (UL-746B); large operating temperature range; small thermal expansion coefficient. 2. Mechanical properties: high strength, high mechanical modulus, low latent degeneration, strong wear resistance and fatigue resistance. 3. Others: Chemical resistance, electrical resistance, flammability, weather resistance and good size stability. In terms of technology, try to control that the barrel temperature should not be too high and the injection speed should not be too fast, so as to avoid the discoloration and mechanical performance of the product caused by the decomposition of the high rubber temperature. 2. Weather-resistant PA Additives to absorb ultraviolet rays such as carbon black to PA, which greatly enhance the self-lubrication of PA and wear on metals, which will affect the cutting and wear of the machine parts during forming. General Grade Polystyrene Therefore, it is necessary to adopt a combination of screws, barrels, overglue heads, rubber rings and overglue washers with strong feeding capacity and high wear resistance. 3. Transparent PA It has good tensile strength, impact resistance, rigidity, wear resistance, chemical resistance, surface hardness and other properties. It has high light transmittance and is similar to optical glass. The processing temperature is 300-315 °C. During molding, the barrel temperature needs to be strictly controlled. If the melt temperature is too high, the product will discoloration due to degradation. If the temperature is too low, it will affect the transparency of the product due to poor plasticization. The mold temperature should be as low as possible, and the high mold temperature will reduce the transparency of the product due to crystallization.
